What is commission advancement?

How much of my advance can I receive?
You can receive up to 80% of your commission (exclusive of HST).
Who is eligible to apply?
myCommission is for agents who are part of the myAbode ecosystem in a brokerage that is a myAbode Enterprise customer for deal processing.
How quickly can I receive funds?
Document review and approval process is quick, with funds typically advanced within 24 hours.
When can I request an advance?
You may apply for the advance when your deal becomes firm.
Are there any fees involved?
We charge a discounted fee for the agents using myAbode platform. The amount varies depending on how much of an advance you are requesting and the length of time before the closing. Use the calculator to calculate your fees.
How is repayment handled?
Repayment is automatically handled upon closing. Your brokerage will remit your advanced commission directly to us, so nothing for you left to do!
What if my deal gets extended?
Notify your brokerage and us immediately so we can prepare an amendment to your advance (subject to fees).
