What stage of company does myVentures invest in?

Our primary focus is minority investments in early-stage companies where we can be most helpful. We typically participate in existing rounds rather than leading, but where there’s clear strategic value for both sides, we’re open to finding the right structure to make it work.

Is an investment tied to a partership?

Not necessarily. We look for opportunities with a clear path to partnership and focus on building successful partnerships, understanding that investment and commercial agreements may happen on different timelines. Depending on where you are in your product journey, there are different ways we can best support companies.

What areas of the industry do you invest in?

myAbode is focused on delivering best-in-class technology for brokerages and agents, and better experiences for renters and homeowners across the country. While this is our core focus, we also invest ahead of the curve and engage early with ambitious founders shaping where the industry is headed. Residential is core — but not exclusively.

How does myVentures support founders?

Our main differentiator is our connection to myAbode and investors focused exclusively on proptech. We help founders move faster by sharing hard-earned learnings, refining positioning, and guiding go-to-market within myAbode’s network of brokerages and more than 7,000 agents. This can include product discovery sessions, targeted introductions, and, in some cases, product integration.

We’re based downtown and can provide space where founders can work, collaborate, and connect.

If I reach out, where is my information shared?

Information is first reviewed by a small myVentures team and, when helpful, shared selectively within myAbode to assess potential fit. Share only what your comfortable with — enough to determine whether it makes sense to start a conversation and we can go from there.

Courtney and Stephanie are involved with both myVentures and Alate Partners, but these are separate funds. If you contact Alate directly, those conversations are confidential and any materials are only shared with myVentures with your consent.

Are there ways for me to get involved if I am not a founder?

Absolutely. Beyond founders, we’re excited to connect with great people across the real estate industry — from software engineers and sales leaders to realtors and brokerage owners. We’re building a community through events, mentorship, and thought leadership.
